		<description>There seems to be a convention whereby the &lt;I&gt;maillot jaune&lt;/I&gt;'s team leads out on the first circuit of the Champs-Élyseés, and then the racing starts properly after that, so it's an unlikely eventuality. But, yes, in theory, there could be mayhem.</description>

		<description>When I was watching on telly, I wondered - what if there was a breakaway early on and the leading group got to the Champs-Élysées early enough to be a lap ahead of the other riders? It strikes me as harder to manage than a similar occurrence in athletics (where they move more slowly) or motor racing (where when the leader has finished, everybody else finishes too rather than do extra laps).</description>
